The John C. Hutcheson Gallery in the James D. Hughes Center at Lipscomb University opened fall 2010. Curated by Faculty in the Department of Art, the Hutcheson Gallery will feature a variety of exhibitions each semester. This gallery will provide an opportunity to study, exhibit, stimulate appreciation for and advance knowledge of works of art that collectively represent the broadest spectrum of human achievement and artistic interests. Occasional free lectures by nationally and regionally known artists will be held in conjunction with the exhibitions through the Visiting Artist Program and the Presidential Lectureships for Art and Art History.
